3 year old with leukocoria


 




Calcified intraocular mass.

Diagnosis: RETINOBLASTOMA

Unilateral-70-75%.

Bilateral- 25-40%.

Trilateral-Bilateral and pineal.

Quadrilateral-Bilateral,pineal and suprasellar tumor.

5-15%- familial.

On MR T2W1-hypointense relative to vitreous.

Retinoblastoma gene on chromosome 13 at q14 locus.

 

Differntial Diagnosis for leukocoria;

Coat disease

Persistent hyperplastic primary vitreous ( PHPV )
